About our Irish Coffee with Salted Caramel Syrup
The history of this fabulous cocktail dates back to the 1940s, when a chef decided to add Irish whiskey to the coffee of passengers in transit from Foynes Air Force Base, Ireland. It's not as simple a cocktail as it seems, because its secret lies in the quality of the coffee (prefer a Pour Over type filter: Chemex or V60) and the whipped cream used (cream 35 % in a shaker with a spoonful of powdered sugar will do wonders).
