1 C. 1/2 tsp (5 mL) worcestershire sauce
½ oz (15 ml) fresh lime juice
Hot sauce (to taste)
Pinch of ground pepper
Pinch of celery salt
5 oz (300 ml) Mexican beer
Sea salt, fresh cilantro, cherry tomatoes and lime (to garnish)
Moisten the rim of a tall glass with a lime wedge and sprinkle with sea salt.
Add all the ingredients except the beer.
Fill with ice cream and stir with a chopstick or bar spoon until your fingers become very cold.
Dilute with beer.
Garnish with fresh cilantro
cherry tomatoes and a lime wedge.
About our Classic Michelada
This Mexican cocktail dates from the middle of the last century. Originally, it is simply made with beer, lime juice, hot sauce and spices to enhance the taste of the beer. It's a simply perfect aperitif cocktail, which really deserves to be known.
