Pumpkin Spice Daiquiri
1 ½ oz (45 ml) dark rum
½ oz (15 ml) sirop de citrouille épicée
½ oz (15 ml) orange marmalade
½ oz (15 ml) fresh lime juice
1 sprig of crushed fresh rosemary
Rosemary (for garnish)
In a shaker, crush the sprig of rosemary in the syrup.
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix with ice.
Strain through a fine sieve into a chilled cup.
Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and good background music.

The idea for this cocktail comes from its name, the song "Pump up the Jam" by the group Technotronic. The next idea? Include in the same cocktail pumpkin ( pump kin ) and marmalade ( jam ). The result is an absolutely surprising and delicious cocktail, much more than the song itself which, it must be admitted, has aged terribly badly.
