1 oz (30 ml) 100% agave white tequila or mezcal
½ oz (15 ml) lime syrup
1 pinch of fleur de sel
Lime slice (for garnish)
Put all the ingredients in a shaker with ice.
Strain into a glass filled with ice.
Garnish with a slice of lime.
About our Tommy's Margarita
This cocktail was invented in the early 90s by Julio Bermejo, co-owner of Mexican restaurant Tommy's in San Francisco. He changed the way of seeing the Margarita by swapping orange liqueur for agave. Today, this restaurant has become an agave mecca, with the widest selection of agave spirits in the United States.
