This is the syrup we should have released in 1998, when fruity beers and Sour Puss shooters were all the rage! During the lockdown, a certain Jean-Paul told us that he missed the taste of real raspberries. So did we!
Our fresh raspberries are first frozen to help concentrate the juices. Then our local partner Impress mashes them into a smooth puree that is mixed with lemon juice and sugar and then filtered. We keep some of the pulp in the syrup so it tastes just like Grandma's jam. And just like said jam, our syrup is free of flavoring and preservatives.
How to use it?
White and black beers;
White, red and pink sangrias;
Perfect as a kir or a kir royal;
In iced teas (green, black, white), with foam soda, in lemonade, in slushes and in aguas frescas;
In the kitchen to make coulis on ice cream, yogurt, cheesecake, fruit salad, goat cheese and chocolate cake as well as vinaigrettes.
