Cosmopolitan #2
Ingredients :
1 oz (30 ml) lemon flavored vodka
½ oz (15 ml) orange liqueur
½ oz (15 ml) cranberry syrup
¾ oz (22 ml) lime juice
Orange zest (for garnish)
Preparation :
In a shaker, mix all the ingredients with ice.
Strain through a fine strainer into a chilled martini glass.
Garnish with an orange zest.

If there is one cocktail that can sum up a decade, it is the Cosmo and the 90's! Although its origin is disputed between gay bars in the 80's, the Ocean Spray corporation and its vaguely similar recipe printed on the labels of cranberry juice and a variant of the Daisy (from the family of sours), one can clearly point the finger the moment it became a classic: when Samantha from Sex and the City ordered one at the bar.
